Hello Reader
Welcome to 2017! My Name is Finlay as you may have read at the side of my screen. This will be a reflection of my past few weeks in my new class. This term for Topic/Literacy we have been researching disasters. Our class (and the class next to us as we are a joined class) have had to complete three activities about a disaster of our own choice or to choose a disaster our teacher has chosen for us. I decided to choose a disaster of my own. I have made two presentations about my disaster in about three weeks. Here is my two presentations that i have made.
For maths we have been doing multiple things but most of all we have been doing 2 x 2 digit multiplication. This is probably one of my favourite things to do in maths. We have also had independent tasks to complete over the week. Basic facts, (100 questions every day 4 times a week), word problems, (5 every day for three days), and maths maintenance, (25 questions, 4 times a week) these take time to complete and you have to manage your time wisely.
